YOUR TRAINER

Ray Spooner MCIOB MRICS

Hi my name is Ray and I’m an the Chairman of the Carmelcrest Group of companies operating in construction and property sectors.

I began my career in the trade as a carpenter, now over 30 years later, I employ over 50 staff members in my company Carmelcrest Construction, which has undertaken over 1000 refurbishment projects during the last 30 years and is still in operation today. So when it comes to refurbishment and working with builders, I rally have ‘seen it all’ – and I’m still active in Property Investment and development today.

I’m a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB) and a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Because of my unique position of being both an Investor/Business Owner and a Construction Expert, I understand in detail the challenges investors face today working with builders. I’m able to teach on ‘both sides of the coin’ – I may even provide a few ‘tricks of the trade’…

HOW HAVE WE HELPED OTHERS?

HOW HAVE WE HELPED OTHERS?

WHY IS THIS TRAINING IMPORTANT?

I did my property training several years ago, I felt then that there was a big gap in the training. Perhaps the biggest part of the process.

Looking at the process end-to-end for property investors, the beginning part of sourcing and buying the property is well covered, as is the letting and management of the property. But the middle and by far the most difficult part of the process, ‘refurbish’, is skipped over.

No wonder I am contacted by 100’s of property investors, most of whom have been on property trainings, asking how they can resolve deputes with their builders.

The reason you need this training is to fill that void in your knowledge, to make your property skills complete, save yourself money, time and a lot of stress in the future.

You already have the professional skills to buy a property and get it let out, but on this course, you’ll learn how to professionalise the middle part of the process, how to deal with builders the right way, rather than bundling through and hoping for the best. Which is what most investors do.

This training is a deep-dive into everything you will ever need to know about working with builders.
